Acceptances
While my favorite part of the process is the moment of bravery when a student submits an application, students and families tend to prefer the moment they receive a particular acceptance letter. Below is a sample list of schools where students I’ve worked with have been admitted in the past five years:
Barnard College, Bates College, Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Davidson College, Duke University, Emory University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Hamilton College, Hampton University, Haverford College, Howard University, New York University, Northeastern University, Northwestern University, Princeton University, Southern Methodist University, Spelman College, Stanford University, Tufts University, Tulane University, University of Chicago, University of Miami, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, University of Notre Dame, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt University, Villanova University, Wake Forest University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Wellesley College
Kind Words
“At the end of the college application process, I not only earned a handful of acceptances but a new understanding of work ethic. At the end of senior year, I understood the process of wanting something, going for it, and then earning it as a result of my work ethic. I saw this in myself, but I also used Ms. Leach as an example of what that process is supposed to look like. Ms. Leach wanted her students to achieve whatever they wanted in the college application process, and her dedication and her unmatched work ethic were exemplary for me as I worked through one of the toughest periods in my academic career.”
